In River Arno Valley, surrounded by cypress trees, the Villa il Palagio is a classical villa which has been sensitively converted into several apartments. The villa seamlessly blends 19th Century architecture and contemporary finishes. This apartment, which sleeps 4, is the perfect destination for people who want to relax and explore the beautiful region of Tuscany.

The spacious living room is furnished with a stylish sofa and armchairs. Through double sliding doors there is an airy dining room which has a table for 4 and a flat-screen TV. The separate, modern kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and fridge/freezer.

The outdoor space has been arranged with as much care as the interiors. The swimming pool has elegant sun loungers and parasols close by, where guests can relax after a refreshing swim. The grounds of the villa offer beautiful walks under the shade of the trees. Back indoors there is a communal games room where guests can meet and play billiards and table football.

The villa is just 45 minutes from Arezzo, 40 minutes from the centre of Florence and 1 hour from Sienna, so the finest cities in Tuscany are all within easy reach. Chianti - famous for its delicious wines, is less than 1 hour from the house. A trip to one of the many vineyards for a wine tasting makes a wonderful day out.

For keen shoppers, The Mall, a collection of internationally renowned Italian designer outlets, is just 5 minutes away.

There are some excellent restaurants in the area, but for self-catering, the local markets are not to be missed. Rignano sull’Arno (5 minutes) has weekly markets on Thursday and Saturday, where you can find the very best local produce to cook back at the villa.

Florence airport is just 40 minutes away.
