Villa Zacconi is set on top of a small hill and surrounded by pine woods, an old cedar of Lebanon and beautiful gardens, the villa boasts a magnificent view of the Camaiore valley, with the Apuan Alps as a backdrop.
Dating back to the early 1900s, the villa was built as a country retreat by Ermete Zacconi, the famous theatre actor of the late 1800s who also acted with Eleonora Duse. Over the years, the villa has been frequented by the Italian intellectual and artistic élite from Pirandello to Vittorio Gassman and Mario Monicelli, among others.
The body of the villa has been completely renovated in 2017 and now includes all the modern conformts while retaining its unique “Art Nouveau” charm.
Surrounding the villa are three well-tended gardens with lawn and plenty of colourful flowers, a true oasis of peace and tranquility. Within the gardens there is also a lounge area to relax and a dining area, both covered with cloth gazebos and wooden pergolas.
The outdoor spaces are embellished by a large fenced pool (9.6 x 6 m) located at the edge of the forest, in the lower garden, reached by a short flight of stairs.
The swimming pool is equipped with a solarium in Lecce stone, umbrellas, deck chairs, sun loungers, a ladder for entry / exit and an outdoor shower with hot water. The whole area is an oasis of peace and tranquility with lounge and dining areas, both clustered under canvas and wooden pergolas.
Lastly, at guests' disposal are also a ping-pong table and a built-in barbecue for pleasant grills with friends.

The villa is situated just 1,5 km from the village of Camaiore where you will find shops, bars, restaurants and a medium sized supermarket.
Lido di Camaiore, the well-known Versilia seaside resort offering a wide range of services for tourists, is just 15 km away. The villa is also 20 minutes' drive from the city of Pietrasanta, with its beautiful old town and the several artistic and gastronomic events.
The sophisticated Forte dei Marmi and the other famous seaside resorts of Versilia (such as Viareggio and Marina di Pietrasanta) are just a few km away.
The Versilia coast – i.e. the great temple of entertainment by night – boasts some exclusive seaside establishments, largely equipped with amenities and services, in order to satisfy every kind of tourist needs.
Besides, from the villa you can easily reach the major Tuscan cities of art: Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena.

The property is spread over 3 floors, furnished with contemporary pieces and hallways decorated in an “Art Deco” style. It can accommodate up to 12 people for a total of 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.
Upon request, it is possible to add 2 extra single beds at an extra cost.
Ground floor: You are welcomed by a bright living room with an open fireplace and sofas leading to the garden and to a pergola with dining table. Following a dining room, while along the corridor, you can admire a beautiful upright piano (Bechstein).
Continuing you will find a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with: oven, microwave, “syde-by-syde” refrigerator, toaster, Nespresso machine, dishwasher and breakfast table.
Guests will also enjoy a home theater room with satellite TV, CD/DVD players and hi-fi equipment
Two bathrooms with showers make the rest of this floor.
First floor: The first floor is dedicated to the sleeping area, consisting of 5 airy bedrooms (3 doubles and 2 twins) and 5 bathrooms with shower (1 normal and 4 ensuite, including one with bathtub).
One of the bedrooms also boasts a balcony.
Second floor (turret): On the second floor there is a lovely apartment, furnished in a contemporary style, with double bed, bathroom (with shower and bathtub), TV and large terrace.
Third floor (turret): On the top floor is a turret (measuring 5.5 x 9 m) with a balustraded terrace. The terrace is furnished with sun loungers, wicker sofa and armchairs. From here it is possible to admire a splendid 360 ° view over the whole Camaiore valley.
