Cozy log cabin by a clear-watered lake Iso-Roine.

37 km to the north from Hämeenlinna, lake Iso-Roine 20 m (length 8 km, width 2 km), hard rocky (also bigger stones) bottom, pier. There is a steep slope down to the shore. There is a nature trail in front of the cabin, descending the slope to the pier, where you can go swimming by stairs. Not child-friendly shore. There is a shallow child-friendly sand beach within 200 m from the cabin (shared with neighboring cabins).

The marina, where you can find a rowing boat belonging to the cabin, is 100 meters away. The rowing boat is stored in the harbor due to the rockiness of the beach. A little further from the harbor, you can get a shortcut to the meadow area, where are opportunities for many kinds of activities.

Log cabin 2006, living room / kitchen with sofa bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each (one downstairs, another upstairs), sleeping loft with 4 beds, wood-heated sauna, washroom, toilet downstairs and upstairs, covered porch.

There is direct access from the sauna to the porch for cooling, the porch has a round log-made table group. The cabin does not have sun loungers.

A charger for an electric car is available for an additional fee (in common use with the Puolukka, Mustikka and Lakka cabins).

Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also weekend reservations). The cabin is located in the same area as three other almost identical rental cabins (Mustikka, Puolukka, Lakka) and Kärkimökki. Distances of cabins from each other is 30 meters, to Kärkimökki 40 m. The yards of the cabins are mainly in a natural state. There is a frisbee golf course in the neighboring forest, so the most avid players have easy access to the lane (lane number 17).

In the yard there is a common wood storage (firewood for sauna, hut and fireplace included in the price) and children's sandbox.

Please respect the neighbors, as well as others living nearby. The silence is between 22.00 and 7.00.

General information:
Cabins owned by Leppäniemi Hirsihuvilat company are located in Hauho, on the shores of the clear-watered and fishy lake Iso-Roine, near the hill Utterinvuori. The company has 13 homely and well-equipped log cabins for year-round use. Space for 120 people.

The environment offers excellent outdoor and off-water opportunities. About 40 acres of nature conservation area, private 21-lane disc golf course, berry and mushroom picking possibilities, campfire sites, varied fishing and crayfish catching possibilities (guided tours also available). The 2.5-hectare meadow area between Härkälinna (cabin no. 8426) and the beach has a badminton / volleyball court, some frisbee golf courses and medieval-style competition equipment and facilities that can be used with a guided tour (competition field on request). The meadow can be used freely by the guests of 13 cabins. In winter, cross-country ski trails (if snow situation allows), hole in the ice (for swimming) on request, ice fishing and ice skating.

Hauho is easily reachable in the middle of Lahti and Tampere. You can drive from Hämeenlinna in 30 minutes and from Helsinki in 1.5 hours.

Distances: 200 m to the meadow area ("race field" and frisbee golf), 35 km to Hämeenlinna railway station, 65 km to Tampere and Lahti, 140 km to Helsinki.
