Santa Colomba house is located in the Montagnola Senese, a natural, protected area that offers contact with nature and the possibility of trekking, mountain biking and horse riding. The proximity to Siena, only 8 km away, allows guests to get to know the city, experience the Palio, the famous horse race that takes place on 2 July and 16 August, and the Strade Bianche, a bicycle race that takes place in the province of Siena in March. Just 12 km away is the Castle of Monteriggioni, a small medieval village, which we recommend you see one afternoon at sunset and stop for dinner in one of the restaurants inside. San Gimignano, Florence and Volterra are also easy to reach. Santa Colomba house has a private outdoor area equipped with furniture and barbecue. The pool shared with the owners (who use the pool occasionally) is equipped with sunbeds. A bus stop is located 300 metres from the house to reach the centre of Siena.
