Very nice 20 room holiday house (400 m2) in Cortona with room for 20 people.

Set amid the warm colours of the Tuscan countryside, Villa Il Palazzo is situated in the foothills near the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona, just 5km from its historic centre. A holiday as if from a bygone age beckons, offering the opportunity to renew contact with places in one’s memory, as well as sights, scents and emotions long forgotten. Villa Il Palazzo is a manor house dating from the end of the 19th century, lovingly restored to its former splendour.
The Palazzo is situated in the Fratta region, a rural area in which a splendid chandelier – one of the most important examples of Etruscan civilization – was discovered. The path of Bonifica Leopoldina, from which you can enjoy a view of Cortona and the surrounding countryside, runs near to the Villa and can be explored on foot, by bicycle or on horseback.

There are six apartments of various sizes, each of which contains antique furniture which fits harmoniously together with the vaulted ceilings, the terracotta-tiled floors and the arches, making the villa a beautiful and welcoming place to stay. The bedrooms are painted in warm colours matching the hues of the surrounding countryside. Air conditioning, satellite television and dishwashers are all available.

The large garden, which surrounds The Palazzo, is equipped with chairs and tables, beach umbrellas, sunbeds, children’s games, bicycles, barbecue equipment and a beautiful swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests.

The villa’s enchanting location, surrounded by orchards and farmland, makes it an ideal place for holidays, offering exquisite sunrises and breathtaking sunsets.
