Good 4 room holiday house (85 m2) in Sodankylä with room for 6 people.

96 km to the north from Rovaniemi, lake Unarijärvi 100 m (length 11 km, width 3,5 km), quickly deepening beach, rocky bottom, own rowing boat and boat with outboard motor (3,5 hp 2-stroke) available. The customer brings the fuel. In addition, 2 Indian canoes (aluminum).

Guests have access to snowshoes (3 pairs), hunting skis, normal skis, 2 bicycles, 4 fishnets (trap identification marks included), 2 ice drills and ice fishing rods.
Unarin kettu is located by a large and fishy lake. It is an ideal base for many kinds of wilderness activities.
Fishing: Fishing in the lake Unari is permitted with fisheries management fee. One fishing rod and lure can be used. More information see www.eraluvat.fi You don't need permission for ice fishing or angling on the lake. There is a good pike perch population in the lake Unari. There is also species like vendace, pike, perch and whitefish.
An excellent destination for fishing in rapids is the river Meltausjoki, which starts from the lake Unarinjärvi within 6 km distance. There is good grayling population in river Meltausjoki. Destination 2561 Meltausjoki (www.eraluvat.fi).

Hunting: State owned small game hunting areas 2613 Maunu and 3606 Vasaselkä easily accessible (see www.eraluvat.fi).
Excursions destinations nearby: island Porosaari with lean-to shelter (1,8 km boat trip) and rapid Unarinköngäs in river Meltausjoki (about 10 km).

Hunting dogs are allowed outdoors only by separate agreement with the owner.Pets are absolutely not allowed inside the cottage due to the allergies of the caretaker.

Kierinki village 17 km. There are services like grocery shop, fuel sales, café-restaurant, art gallery, private restaurant, program service companies offering nature experiences and snowmobile rental in the village. Check the opening hours in advance.
