You will find Villa Scatolaia on the high hills of the green Casentino valley, among Romanesque parish churches, ancient monasteries and fairytale castles. Located in a panoramic position on the edge of the National Park of the Casentino Forests, which encompasses inimitable natural beauty, ancestral forests, mountain lakes, and a wealth of wildlife. If you are fond of trekking, hiking or cycling, you will find plenty of routes in the National Park suitable for everyone and it will not be difficult to meet fallow deer, foxes, badgers, lynxes and the countless other inhabitants of the woods.

The villa is divided into two cosy apartments, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Each unit has a separate entrance, the two units are not connected internally.
In front of the house, in a large green area of about 1,500 m2, completely enclosed, which like a natural terrace overlooks the valley below, you will have at your disposal, and for your exclusive use, a beautiful swimming pool ( size 5 x 10 m. - depth 1.50 m. - open from 01 May to 30 September). The pool is also completely enclosed, and there are children's games, a table-tennis, a wood-burning oven for baking tasty pizzas, and a barbecue for superb meat grills. For your open-air lunches and dinners there is a panoramic gazebo equipped with table and chairs.

In less than 10 minutes by car, you will reach Stia, a small and particular village characterised by its narrow alleys and paved squares, where you will find a supermarket, small grocery shops and also typical restaurants where you can taste the traditional dishes of the area, such as “Tortelli di patate”, “Scottiglia”, “Tortelli alla lastra”, “Acquacotta” and the ever-present Porcini mushrooms, in the sauces of the first courses or accompanying the various types of meat.
By car, you can also easily reach the cities of art and towns in the nearby areas of Arezzo, as well as Florence and Emilia-Romagna through suggestive mountain passes.

FIRST FLOOR: with entrance from the porch on the higher level of the garden, it comprise sitting/dining-room with double sofa bed and open fireplace, kitchen, two double bedrooms, single bedroom, bathroom with shower.

Breakage deposit Euro 500 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
