Only a stone’s throw from the shores of Lake Garda, in the small hamlet of Gazzane, this apartment for 2 makes a cosy base for people who want to really get to know this beautiful part of Italy.

One of two independent properties and just inside the Alto Garda Park, in a very quiet location, guests can soak up nature in this pretty little cottage. The open-plan living area is spread over the ground floor. The front door opens onto a sunny dining area, with a table and chairs and a book library. The room is divided by a wardrobe and shelves. Behind these is the sleeping area. Beyond this, through an attractive archway, is the kitchen which is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge and a kettle.

The cottage is surrounded by a partly shaded terrace which is furnished with a hammock for guests to relax.

Sleeping
The double bed is in a sleeping area, which is separated from the main room. There is also a chest of drawers for storage.

Bathroom
The tiled bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Location
The hamlet of Gazzane is located just 1 km from Salò, a charming historical and cultural center on the west of Lake Garda which, together with seven other municipalities on the west coast, forms the Riviera dei Limoni. Not only is Salò a wonderful town to explore and enjoy, it also offers several beaches for lake bathing and is a ferry stop so guests can easily explore the rest of Lake Garda.

Active guests, apart from a stroll along the famous lake-front promenade, can try sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. Away from the lake, there are many hiking and mountain bike routes through stunning countryside, plus horse riding and golf.

To help with self-catering there are supermarkets and smaller shops in Salò, and also the weekly market (Saturday morning) which is an excellent place to spend some time trying the best local produce.

Lovers of art and history can visit the famous "Vittoriale degli Italiani" home of Gabriele D'Annunzio in Gardone Riviera (2 km) and the new museum of Salò (500 meters) called "MUSA".

The nearest airports are Verona Villafranca (1 hour drive) and Milan Bergamo (1 hour and 5 minute drive).
