Beach life beckons with this lovely villa for 10 people, just 35 metres from Spiaggiabella and the sea!

The two-storey villa is ideal for families or friends who want to holiday together but also have some privacy. Both floors are equipped with their own kitchens and bathrooms. The villa is surrounded by a well-kept garden, with a solarium area, as well as a shaded veranda, furnished with a table and chairs for meals al fresco.

On the ground floor, there is a spacious sitting room with an L-shaped sofa, an attractive corner fireplace and a flat-screen TV. There is a dining table in this room and 2 sets of glass doors lead out onto the terrace. The separate kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and a large dining table for casual meals.

Upstairs, on the first floor, there is a relaxing area where guests can enjoy a small bar, table football and darts. French windows open onto an extensive roof terrace with lovely sea views. The terrace is furnished with a sofa and armchairs, for guests to enjoy the fresh sea air. The upstairs kitchen is appointed with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer, a coffee machine plus a smaller dining table and chairs. A door opens from the kitchen onto the extensive roof terrace.

Sleeping
There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. Both have a double bed and a single bed. There are 2 additional bedrooms on the first floor. These both have a double bed.

Bathrooms
There are 3 bathrooms in total. One is on the ground floor and two are on the first floor. Two bathrooms have a shower and the 3rd bathroom has a full bath. They are all equipped with basins, bidets and WC’s.
Extra: There is an outdoor shower which is ideal after a day on the beach.

Location
The villa is next to Spiaggiabella which means “beautiful beach”. It has fine sand and a gently sloping shore which makes it particularly good for children and less confident swimmers. The beach has free areas and other parts where you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas for the day. These stretches have bars with lively music and cocktails. The beach at Lido Bacino Idume also has canoes for rental and kite surfing or surfing for more adventurous holidaymakers.

The area is part of the Natural Park of Bosco e Paludi di Rauccio. So away from the beach, guests can explore the wetlands and woods, full of birds and rare plants, either on foot or as part of a cycling tour.

For self-catering there is a small supermarket just 5 minutes walk from the villa, alternatively, there is the farmers market in Lecce (20 minutes) every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, where you can find the best local ingredients. Alternatively, the next-door town of Torre Chianca (5 minutes drive) has a range of restaurants, bars and cafés.

The city of Lecce, the “Florence of the South”, is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.

The closest airport is Salento Airport, in Brindisi - just 40 minutes away by car.
