Villa delle Vigne e Olivi Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy

Description

Villa delle Vigne e Olivi Prices from 3.000 Euro per week

Villa delle Vigne e Olivi is a beautifully renovated 18th-century farmhouse, restored in 2003 with a dedication to preserving its original architectural charm. The renovation respects the authentic features, revealing traces of stone and earth that harken back to its rural roots, all carefully adapted with anti-seismic safety. The ground floor, once home to farm animal stalls, now offers a spacious and welcoming open-plan living space featuring handmade terracotta floors, vaulted red brick ceilings, and charming arches that delineate various areas while maintaining an atmosphere of rustic elegance. Individual, original details throughout exude unique character and warmth.

The estate comprises two structures: the main house and an adjoining annex, creatively converted from two old silos to accommodate up to ten guests in the larger configuration. Situated on a vast estate of approximately 50 hectares, the property is immersed in vineyards and olive groves. Its strategic location offers panoramic views between the Majella and Gran Sasso mountain ranges on one side, and the Adriatic coast’s renowned Trabocchi fishing machines on the other. This prime setting provides an excellent base for exploring the region's rich heritage, natural beauty, historic villages, lush forests, rugged mountains, and deep valleys, as well as the stunning coastline.

Interior Description

Main House: The two-story main residence features both internal and external access paths. The main entrance, under a welcoming portico, leads into an expansive ground-floor open-plan area with vaulted ceilings, a cozy fireplace, a sitting area, and a billiards corner with a TV. Adjacent to the entrance, a guest bathroom is conveniently located. The dining area connects directly to the kitchen with a pantry and opens onto a pergola equipped with a wood-fired oven, perfect for outdoor dining. Multiple French doors from the living and sitting areas provide access to the portico, amplifying the indoor-outdoor living experience.

Upstairs, a secondary kitchen offers access to a panoramic terrace and stairs leading down to the garden. The upper floor features a double bedroom with en-suite shower bathroom, a twin bedroom with joinable beds, and a double bedroom with terrace access and en-suite bath with tub and shower. A shared bathroom with a shower completes this level.

Annex: Located about 10 meters from the main house, the annex is formed from two renovated silos, each featuring a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower on every level, offering additional privacy and comfort.

Exterior & Garden

Set within an 8,000-square-meter garden, the estate’s grounds are filled with lush lawns, gravel pathways, and hedges of myrtle, strawberry trees, broom, and viburnum. Centuries-old oaks, holm oaks, and a mulberry tree provide shaded spots for relaxation. Fruit trees such as pomegranates, walnuts, apples, cherries, medlars, figs, and peaches adorn the garden. The pergola, draped with white wisteria, features a wood oven and is ideal for al fresco meals. A seating area and ping-pong table enhance outdoor living. The highlight is a panoramic swimming pool measuring 4x12 meters, with salt purification, Roman steps, internal lighting, and a border in stoneware—perfect for relaxing while enjoying breathtaking views. The pool is available from late April to early October.
