Hyeres is a beautiful little town located in the south of Provence. The city is located in an enchanting landscape, with the Mediterranean Sea with great opportunities for diving. There is a Mediterranean climate and on the 100 km long coastline it alternates between sandy beaches, cliffs and small bays
History:
Presumably, people lived in the Hyeres area in ancient times. in the year 963 the town was called Eyras. After a castle was built in the 9th century, a development followed fairly quickly, where, among other things. was built the city gate Barruc and the church of Saint Paul. The name of the city of palm trees, the city got in the 19th century, when many gardeners planted palm trees and other plants. Later, the city developed into the tourist magnet it is today with large villas, hotels and holiday homes
