The small charming town of Cogolin is a favorite tourist destination. There is sun and of course the Mediterranean which appeals to many tourists. The inhabitants of the city do not allow themselves to be influenced by the presence of the many guests in the streets, they fit the usual chores and the city's authentic charm is preserved.
It might sound like Cogolin is nothing special. But make no mistake, there are several cultural initiatives and there are sports opportunities and the beautiful Mediterranean. Sights are also offered in the area. There are wonderful sandy beaches as well as a large marina with room for 800 boats
Attractions:
The city's oldest structure is the church of St. Souveur which has been built on the remains of an 11th century castle. The only thing left of the old castle is the tower, and it is possible to visit the area. On the left side of the tower there is a road up and it leads straight to Place Bellevue, where the church of Ste-Croix is ??located, under the roof there are several modern works of art.

Twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday) a market is held in the city. People flock to the city to do a good deal at one of the many stalls and the supply of goods of various kinds, from many parts of Provence
On the 2nd week of May, a feast is held for the city's patron saint Saint Saint. It's a party bigger parade
At the end of August and the beginning of September, the last Fete Provenciale party of the summer is held. Here you get an opportunity to get really close to your own customs
Excursions:
Both in and around Cogolin there are very well maintained golf courses, they are located in very beautiful natural surroundings and they are an obvious excursion destination
In the hilly areas in the hinterland it is possible to go hiking. A few kilometers from Cogolin is the town of Port Grimaud. The exciting city of St. Tropez is also an excursion destination located just 15 km from Cogolin
