Vacation in San Remo

San Remo is a lovely seaside resort. But the city is also characterized by beautiful old mansions, a beautiful lakeside promenade with large palms, the Russian church (San Borilio), Casino Municipale, and an old town with medieval houses situated in the narrow alleys. The area boasts several small villages that are worth exploring include Romolo located 786 meters above sea level, from here the view is fabulously beautiful. 8 kilometers north of Ventimiglia is the village of Dolceacqua. It is situated out on both sides of Nervia river, the two parts are connected with an old medieval bridge. The city also has ruins of castles from 15 century. Dolce Acqua produces wines that are grown on terraced fields in the mountains
