Book a nice apartment in Fazana
Just opposite the National Park Brijuni and just 8 km from the town of Pula lies the charming fishing village of Fazana. In recent years, the city has become interesting for tourists. They enjoy the harbor, the seafront and the lovely beaches. The romantic city center, but the small houses of different styles, the friendly and hospitable population and the numerous restaurants serving fine-quality food make the city something special.
Attractions:
Church Sv. Kosma, which dates back to the 16th century and built in Gothic style. Inside the church there are works of art by famous painters. The church has the lowest point in Istria and only 1 meter above sea level.
The Church of God, the Mother of Carmel, dates back to the 14th century. Inside the church are seen very beautiful wall and ceiling paintings from the 15th century
Sardelle Fisheries Academy: Here you specialize in the processing and preparation of Sardines. Also, tourists can come in and learn how to clean and cook the fish. In Sardellegade there are several good restaurants that specialize in the cooking history of Sardelle.
Sardelle Sculpture Park: In 2006, artists from Fazana and surrounding areas agreed to open a sculpture park with the theme of Sardine.
Beaches: Camping Pineta Beach a little north of Fazana. It is a pebble beach, by the beach there is a small shop and numerous sports facilities
Nordstrand in Fazana: Badel Strand, a 300 meter long pebble beach with beach bar, sun loungers, parasols and behind the beach you can relax in the shade under the pine trees
Fazana South Beach: also called Djecje Igraliste beach, it is a pebble beach south of Fazana at a beautiful olive grove. At the beach you will find a bar with sports activities and sun loungers and umbrellas
Camping Bi-Village Beach: The well-known stone beach is located approx. 1.5 km south of Fazana and the beach has the blue flag. Beach chairs and umbrellas and boats can be rented by the beach. The beach overlooks Brijuni National Park
Valbandon Beach: The beach is located by the hotel of the same name. The beach is a 500 meter long pebble beach
