The Ajaccio area is located on the western side of Corsica. Here there are steep coastal formations, forests and valleys, gorges and red granite cliffs.
The big coves characterize the landscape, in the north there are the steepest cliffs but and the most beautiful on the island. Ajaccio: is the main city and birthplace of Napoleon, and the city has 64,000 inhabitants. In town you will see the beautifully preserved houses, palm trees seen along the promenade.
Prto & Piana: is a well-visited holiday area, which is the starting point for many hikers in Calanche, with the special rock formations. The small mountain village of Piana is one of the most beautiful villages in France, the city has granite stone houses, narrow streets.
