The largest island in the Adriatic is the island of Krk. It has an area of ??410 km2. Krk is connected to the mainland via a bridge. It is easy to get to the island which also has an international airport. It is an ideal place to relax.

Krk offers many attractions and protected beaches . The island's cultural history and heritage are among the most important in Croatia. There are old churches, small cozy villages, cycling and water sports, etc.

Attractions in the town of Krk:

The city is surrounded by Croatia's 3rd largest city wall, the 13th-century Francopan castle dating back to the 16th century old townhouse. The cathedral's great bell tower and near Silo you can see the Biseruja cave.

On the small island of Kosljun you will find a museum in a monastery.


On the western side of the island you will find the village of Glavostok where there is a church and a monastery.
