In northern Brittany there is a lot to see, visit the small cozy towns that are scattered in the area. Here are many interesting places to visit and if it's summer you can swim in the Atlantic Ocean or if it's too cold a temperature, then book a holiday apartment in a residence by the ocean, then both possibilities are present, jump in the pool or a swim in the ocean.
Places to visit:
Cancale: Located in the bay of Mont-St-Michel, famous for its oysters. From the city there is a view of the monastery of Mont-Saint-Michel. In Cancale there are wide sandy beaches, with the opportunity to surf and play beach volleyball. Cancale is high situated where the houses are on the steep cliff slope. By the sea is La Houle harbor, where there is a large selection of fish restaurants.
Carnac: Visit the mythical site outside of Carnac, where there are 3000 large granite blocks (megalites), which are a survival of the younger Stone Age, which are in long rows that extend approximately 3 miles out in the countryside. Nearby there is also a burial mound with mighty stones, on the top of the hill there is a small church built in the 17th century.
