Le Querciolaie is a special set of apartments in a park with 2 pools (one of which is naturally heated to 36°) just a few kilometers from the Tuscan coast.

There are eight unique units on a large, 10-hectare property owned by an internationally renowned Italian sculptor whose work and studio are located in the property park. The owner lives in the property’s main villa.

The small village of Monteverdi Marittima is about 500 meters away and has shops of all kinds.

The sculptor personally supervised the renovation and furnishing of all 8 units, using his artworks and favorite material: travertine. The bathrooms, kitchens, stairs and floors are in travertine.

The furnishings will be updated before the 2026 season, to modernize the 8 units while maintaining the charming use of stone, and the property’s rural feel.

Guests have at their disposal large outdoor spaces, and 2 outdoor pools: one is covered by a lovely travertine roof and heated to 36° using natural geothermal heat. This heated pool makes swimming pleasant even during the cooler months!

In the Main Villa where the owner resides there are also bedrooms with private bathrooms (price available upon request).

Within about a 45 km radius there are the Etruscan city of Volterra, the renowned village of Bolgheri (famous for its esteemed wines and beautiful cypress-lined road), the Bolgheri Oasis (natural park - WWF Italy), Castagneto Carducci, and the Etruscan Coast’s beautiful beaches like Marina di Cecina, Marina di Bibbona and Marina di Castagneto.
Le Querciolaie is ideal if you are looking for a peaceful, evocative place that’s different from the rest.
