Mallorca belongs to Spain and is part of the Balearic Islands, located on the Spanish east coast. Distances: 261 km from Valencia, 315 km from Algiers and 248 km from Barcelona.

Majorca is the largest island of the Balearic Islands. 3640 km2 large and with 890,000 inhabitants. Majorca includes the island of La Dragona and Cabera Archipal. In the city of Palma de Mallorca there are 405,000 people, the airport is 8km from the center of Palma de Mallorca.

The language is Catalan and Spanish. There is a special Catalan dialect that takes place on the island.

Mallorca's highest point is Serra de Tramuntana (1432 meters). Puig Major is a 90 km long mountain range with 11 mountains over 1000 meters. In the mountain range there are drinking water depots that supply the city of Palma with drinking water.

In the central part of Mallorca, Pia de Mallorca is less high-rise, with the highest point of 542 meters.
